3 | Waterproof Canvas Shoes With Wax

This is a handy tip when it comes to preparing for a rainy or snowy day.
What you need to do is rub a candle against the entire canvas surface of your shoe, use a hairdryer, and melt the wax on to the surface of your shoes. Do the same on the other shoe and now your shoes are waterproof and ready for the freezing weather.

If you love to bake and make comfort foods for winter to stay warm, especially cookies and brownies then leave the door of the oven open after baking so the warmth can spread.
The delicious smell that comes with it is just an additional bonus!
5 | Use A Lighter And Your Key To Thaw A Frozen Lock

If your car door lock is frozen, a good way to thaw it is to use a lighter or a match to heat your key.
Push the heated key into the lock to de-ice as you apply pressure. Make sure you’re careful while doing this as the key needs to be really hot.
Another easier option is to just put a few drops of hand sanitizer on your key and open a frozen door lock.
6 | Frosty Side Mirror Solution

Frosty side mirrors are really irritating and unsafe if you’re driving during the winter season.
To avoid this issue, secure your side mirror with a plastic bag and rubber bands or clothespin to prevent the ice from forming overnight.
In the morning you don’t need to waste time scrubbing ice off your mirrors and can easily get around with clean side mirrors!

Open your window curtains, park your car facing the east so it melts the snow, and get out in the sun to keep yourself warm and cozy during this chilly weather.
